350 ASEAN YOUTHS VISIT JAPAN UNDER JENESYS 2.0

    From 26th May to 2nd June 2013, as part of JENESYS 2.0 Programme, about 350 university students from ASEAN Member States are visiting Japan. The participants arrived in Tokyo area on 27th May, and then they have been divided into three groups to visit Chubu area (Aichi and Shizuoka), Kansai area (Kyoto and Nara) or Kyusyu area (Fukuoka, Nagasaki and Kumamoto).


    In order to have a firsthand experience with “the Cool Japan” that is highly acclaimed and attracting a large attention in many fields, the participants have an opportunity to feel the attractions of each area on various aspects through visiting a local government, a local company, popular sights and Japanese family/home in the local area as well as having a meeting to exchange views with university students and residents in the local area.


    This programme is expected to deepen the understanding and interest to Japan’s strengths and attractions as well as Japanese values.
