JENESYS 2.0: Media, 12th Batch (Brunei Darussalam)

29 September 2014

From 23 to 30 September, 45 university students from Brunei Darussalam are visiting Japan under JENESYS 2.0.

Participants first visited Tokyo to undergo orientation and then were divided into two groups to visit Kyoto and Tokushima Prefectures where they deepened their understanding of Japanese media by observing a broadcast station and a newspaper publishing company, and visited a local university to have discussions and exchange views with Japanese students. They also had the opportunity to experience Japan’s attractions on various aspects through homestay and traditional cultural experience in the visited regions.

This exchange programme expects to promote mutual understanding between Brunei and Japanese youths as well as to allow the youths from Brunei to deepen their understanding of and interest in Japanese values and to actively disseminate their experiences in their country.
