JENESYS 2.0: Social Community youth exchange programme, 17th Batch (“Civil Society Activities”) (Viet Nam)

    From 17 to 24 September, 108 university students from Viet Nam are visiting Japan as part of a programme on the theme of “Civil Society Activities” under JENESYS 2.0.

    Participants first observed Japanese traditional culture, pop culture, and advanced technology facilities in Tokyo. They will then be divided into 4 groups to visit Nagano, Chiba, Gunma and Ibaraki Prefectures to learn about Japanese history and traditional craftsmanship, as well as to exchange views with local residents through school visit and homestay.

    Through this exchange programme, the students from Viet Nam are expected to deepen their understanding of and interest in Japanese values including its history, culture and technology, and to actively disseminate their experiences in their country.
