JENESYS 2.0 Short-term invitation election visit programme from Cambodia, 15th Batch (“Electoral System and Traditional Culture Inheritance”) (Cambodia)

    From 3 to 9 September, 5 youths from Cambodia are visiting Japan as part of a programme on the theme of “Electoral System and Traditional Cultural Inheritance” under JENESYS 2.0.

    Participants will first visit Tokyo to learn about Japan’s electoral system and to have experience on advanced technology. Then they will be divided into 2 groups to visit Nagano and Shizuoka Prefectures to observe local elections as well as to learn about the history and food culture of the region and to exchange views with local residents through homestay programme.

    Through this exchange programme, the youths from Cambodia are expected to deepen their understanding of and interest in Japanese history, culture and values, and to actively disseminate their experiences in their country.
