From 9 to 16 July, about 40 high-school students from Malaysia will visit Japan as part of a programme on the theme of “Social Community” under JENESYS 2.0.

On 9 and 10 July, participants will visit the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office Observation Deck, Edo Tokyo Museum, and the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan). Then they will be divided into 2 groups to visit Kyoto and Okayama Prefectures, where they will pay courtesy call to a local government, exchange views with Japanese high-school students, and have cultural experiences.

This programme is expected to enable youths from Malaysia to deepen their understanding of and interest in “Japan brand” and Japanese values including its strengths and attractions, and to disseminate their experiences in their country.
