Participants first arrived in Tokyo to visit a travel agency that is a representative one in Japan and deepened their understanding of the programme’s concept, i.e. “Tourism”. In Tokyo, they observed historical and cultural facilities and Japan’s latest advanced technology. Then they will visit Kagoshima Prefecture. In order to have a first-hand experience with the “Cool Japan” that is highly acclaimed and attracting a large attention in many fields, the participants will have an opportunity to feel the attractions of the prefecture on various aspects through visiting a local government, a local company and popular sights, having cultural experience as well as exchanging views with local residents.
This programme is expected to enable youths from Thailand to deepen their understanding of and interest in “Japan brand” and Japanese values including its strengths and attractions, and to disseminate their experiences in their country.
