JENESYS 2.0: Science & Technology 10th Batch (BIMP-EAGA (Agriculture))

    From 12 to 20 May, 24 students from Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines (BIMP-EAGA) are visiting Japan as part of programme on the theme of “Agriculture” under JENESYS 2.0.


    Participants will first visit a university of agriculture in Tokyo area to have an exchange event. Then they will visit Kamogawa City in Chiba Prefecture to pay a courtesy call on a local government, have a cultural experience and observe a local industry, and learn about activities based on agriculture which will economically develop the area. Through a homestay programme, participants will deepen their understanding of the living of the Japanese people. Then they will return to Tokyo to observe the latest architectural technology.


    This programme is expected to enable youths from the four BIMP-EAGA countries to deepen their understanding of and interest in Japanese brand and Japanese values including its strengths and attractions, and to disseminate their experience in their respective countries.
