 The 20th East Asia Forum under the theme of “25th Anniversary of ASEAN Plus Three (APT) Cooperation: Recovering Together, Growing Together toward Inclusive, Equitable and Sustainable Development in East Asia”, was held in Nha Trang, Viet Nam, on 19-20 December, and Ambassador Kiya made remarks at the opening ceremony.
 
 Attendees from governments, businesses and academic circles discussed four agendas in a productive and constructive manner; (1) The Past 25 Years of APT Cooperation for Peace, Security and Prosperity; (2) Building Regional and National Health Capacities for Better Resilience to Future Public Health Emergencies; (3) Strengthening Economic and Financial Cooperation for Sustained Recovery and Growth; The Next 25 Years of APT Cooperation toward Inclusive, Equitable and Sustainable Development. 

 In Ambassador Kiya’s statement, he extended his sincere appreciation to the host, the Government of Viet Nam, as well as the sponsor, the ASEAN-Korean Cooperation Fund, and introduced Japan’s support for APT projects in line with the four priority areas of AOIP.
