The 5th AICHR-Japan Interface Meeting

On May 20, “the 5th AICHR-Japan Interface Meeting” was held in Jakarta, Indonesia, on the sideline of the 43rd AICHR (ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights) Meeting. The agenda includes cooperation between Japan and AICHR considering the AICHR FIVE-YEAR WORK PLAN (2026-2030).
Ambassador YONETANI Koji attended this meeting and exchanged views with Representatives and Alternate Representatives of AICHR on the progress and possible areas of cooperation.
AICHR and the Mission of Japan to ASEAN agreed to maintain cooperation on human rights issues.
