The 3rd ASEAN-Japan Ministerial Dialogue on Environment and Climate Change

Mr. ASAO Kenichiro, Minister of Environment of Japan, visited Langkawi, Malaysia, and participated in the 3rd ASEAN-Japan Ministerial Dialogue on Environment and Climate Change.
At the ASEAN Plus Three (Japan, China and Republic of Korea) Environment Ministers' Meeting, progress on initiatives based on the ASEAN Plus Three Marine Plastic Waste Cooperation Action Initiative and other frameworks was shared with ASEAN countries, and ministers exchanged their viwes.
In addition, the bilateral meeting with Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary-General of the ASEAN Secretariat as well as the meeting with other ministers from ASEAN countries were held.
