On 14 August, Ambassador of Japan to ASEAN hosted a session for the participants of the fourth “ASEAN Junior Fellowship Programme (AJFP)" at the Ambassador’s residence.  Japan has been supporting the "ASEAN Junior Fellowship Programme" led by Brunei Darussalam and organised by the ASEAN Secretariat. This is a programme for young diplomats and officials from ASEAN Member States and Timor-Leste to gain practical knowledge and experiences at the ASEAN Secretariat.
 
Ambassador Kiya gave a presentation on ASEAN-Japan relations as “Trusted Partners”, which contributes to this region’s peace, stability and prosperity. After the session, participants enjoyed a reception with Japanese delicacies.
