The 17th Dialogue between the Japan Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FJCCIA) and the Secretary-General of ASEAN

On July 29, the 17th Dialogue between the ASEAN Federation of Japan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FJCCIA) and the ASEAN Secretary-General was held at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta, attended by FJCCIA Chairman Mr. Wakabayashi Koichi and ASEAN Secretary-General Dr. Kao Kim Horn. From the Mission of Japan to ASEAN, Chargé d'Affaires ad interim Mr. CHUJO Kazuo attended.
 
FJCCIA explained the " Requests and proposals from Japanese businesses within ASEAN (2025): Co-Creation for a Prosperous Future in Global Uncertainty" which summarizes the requests of Japanese companies in the ASEAN region with the aim of making ASEAN an even more attractive business development destination for Japanese companies. The request is also in line with the AEC Strategic Plan 2026-2030.
 
Secretary-General Dr. Kao welcomed the development of ASEAN-Japan relations, and stated that strengthening the resilience of companies is becoming more important in light of the current international situation. He expressed his expectations for strengthening ASEAN-Japan economic relations based on co-creation.
