Intellectual Property Seminar supported by JAIF

On December 4 and 5, the ASEAN-Japan Good Practice Seminar on Intellectual Property 2024 (JSIP follow-up seminar) was held in Jakarta, Indonesia, which was jointly organized by the ASEAN Secretariat, the Asia Crime Prevention Foundation (ACPF), and JICA with the support of JAIF. The Ministry of Justice of Japan, Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), JETRO, Japan Federation of Bar Associations (JFBA), Intellectual Property Lawyers Network Japan (IPLNET), and Japan Patent Office (JPO) aslo cooperated in this seminar . At the seminar, IP Experts of judges, lawyers, and administrative officials from all ASEAN countries and Timor-Leste have discussed “Trademark Infringement in the ASEAN Region” with Japanese IP experts in two sessions: “Issues Concerning Trials in Trademark Infringement Litigation” and “Enforcement on Trademark Rights” and have engaged in other activities.
