Tea Ceremony Experience at the Ambassador's Residence

On September 13th, 2024, members of the Spouses of Heads of Missions (SHOM) and the ASEAN Women's Circle (AWC) based in Jakarta visited the Ambassador's Residence and experienced the Japanese tea ceremony.
After receiving explanations about tea utensils, tea sweets, and thick and thin tea, all related to the seasonal theme of the Mid-Autumn Harvest Moon, the participants whisked thin tea themselves and experienced the Japanese tradition, while interacting and exchanging opinions with others from various countries.
